Open Water Fishing
These trips will give you the opportunity to try some different techniques, including jigging, spinning, popping, and trolling. If it’s your first time, Pj can provide as much assistance as you need or if you’re a seasoned angler, he’ll give as much space as you want. Your target species include Largemouth and Smallmouth Bass, Walleye, Musky, Northern Pike, Sunfish, Crappie, and Yellow Perch.
Pj has both light and heavy tackle depending on the weight of the catch. He keeps an array of top-quality rods and reels available on board, made by a variety of brands.
Ice Fishing
Ice fishing can be booked from December to March and all necessary gear will be provided, including heated portable fish houses. You’ll arrive at the meeting point and head out either by foot or vehicle. His other fishing trips are available from March to November.
What to Bring
All you’ve got to do is pick up your fishing license before the trip, show up 15 minutes before departure, and the rest will be covered. Feel free to bring food and beverages, as well as any other personal items you may need. Invite your family and friends on an exciting freshwater adventure in Minnesota.
The Boat
His boat is a 19’ Alumacraft, equipped with a GPS, fishfinder, radar, and wireless trolling motor. She accommodates up to 3 guests, everyone can fish at the same time, and kids of all ages are welcome aboard. You’ll also have a cooler for your snacks and drinks, as well as a livewell for the bait.

Are the fish biting?
Finding fish and getting them to bite is what I do. We will catch fish!
What do you supply?
Open Water: professional guide service, boat, bait, tackle, fishing gear, and life jackets.
Ice Fishing: professional guide service, heated fish house, drilled holes, plowed roads, and on-ice transportation if you would like. Ice conditions change frequently, please inquire.
What do I need to bring?
Bring a valid MN fishing license for each angler, food & drinks, a camera, proper attire and...
Open Water: sun screen, sun glasses, and rain gear.
Ice Fishing: tackle, electronics, and bait.
What lakes do you fish?
Primarily lake Minnetonka as well lakes and Rivers in the greater Minnesota area. Where we fish depends on a number of factors including your location, the weather, and the type of fish we're targeting.
What type of fish can we catch?
It depends on what you'd like to catch, the season, and what's biting. Walleye is the most requested species but I have plenty of experience targeting crappie, sunfish, northern pike, small and large mouth bass, and muskie. It's fairly common to catch multiple species in one outing.
Do you fish tournaments?
Yes!
Can I ride along and not fish?
Yes! It's all about being on the water together, sharing the experience.
Can I bring alcohol on our trip?
Sure, just don't over do it.
